Horror Comedy (Camp/Sci-Fi) Feature Film

Two home repairmen pose as members of a religious cult in order to solve a grisly murder. They are soon caught up in a battle with a female cult and a menacing extra-terrestrial.

About the Director
Andrew Neighill is the award-winning creator of Mary from the Prayer Ward and Death Wheel.  In addition to being featured in numerous film festivals, his films have won awards from Hollywood Horrorfest; LA International Horror Film Festival; LA Indie Horror Fest; Sci-fi, Action and Horror International Film Festival; Religion Faith International Film Festival; Film Basement Horror Film Awards; and The San Antonio Horror Film Festival. Mary from the Prayer Ward is currently distributed by Blood Pact Films. Death Wheel will be released by Blood Pact Films in fall 2026.

  • First time actors are welcome. No previous experience is required. This project is supportive of local talent.

  • Shooting Location(s): Lubbock Area

  • Union Status: Non-union

  • Compensation/Meals/Lodging/Travel: None  (small stipends may be possible)

  • Content Warnings: Violence, Language, Sexual Humor

  • Project Timeline: Flexible 45 day shoot beginning August 2027 (extras will only be needed a select few days within this timeframe)

Character Name: Siren (10x)
Type: Extra | Age Range: 18+ | Gender: Female
Character Description: These performers should feel magnetic without trying — sensual but not cartoonish. Think ritual energy, not nightclub.
Special Notes: Strong comfort with stylized movement (dance, contemporary, or physical theatre experience a plus), Ability to move slowly and deliberately in sync, Comfortable with atmospheric horror tone, A couple rehearsals will be held for choreographed dance sequences

Character Name: Cult Members (10x)
Type: Extra | Age Range: 18+ | Gender: Male & Female
Character Description: Members of a mysterious, possibly ancient organization. They move with eerie synchronicity and unwavering focus. Expressions are calm, devoted, and slightly vacant — as if tuned to something others cannot hear. These performers should be comfortable embodying group-think energy. Stillness, eye contact, and controlled movement are more important than dialogue.

Character Name: Religious Cult Members (10x)
Type: Extra | Age Range: 20+| Gender: Male & Female
Character Description: Public-facing members of a religious community. Outwardly warm, modest, and structured — but with an undercurrent of rigid devotion. Smiles are practiced. Movements are polite. There is a sense of discipline beneath the surface.
